Who is eligible?
Currently, New Jersey-based high school and college ROTC members in good standing in any branch of the military are eligible to apply for scholarship funds from the foundation. Funds are given to help pay for expenses not covered by ROTC programs such as books, fees, uniforms, and travel to military exercises. There are no income eligibility requirements for applicants.
Scholarship funds are limited and dependent on availability.
We give priority to the following applicants:
Those who can demonstrate their dedication to Ryan’s core values of devotion, hard work, and empathy through their actions and service to their local communities. Personal references may be requested.
Commitment to physical fitness. For college applicants, military physical fitness test scores will be requested for review.
How it works:
You must apply by May 5, 2023 in order to be considered for scholarship funds.
Rutgers University and West Chester University ROTC interview(s) with members of the Rehill family will be required of all applicants.
High school applicants will be asked to submit an essay discussing how the ROTC program has benefitted them, how it’s helped them to prepare for college, and how they’ve helped their community.
